E-Invoicing Software for UAE Businesses
FTA-compliant e-invoicing on Zoho Books — Peppol (PINT-AE) structured invoices, connection to an accredited service provider and automated VAT reporting, implemented by a Dubai-based Zoho partner before your Phase 1 or Phase 2 deadline.
Any VAT-registered business
Early adopters can issue and receive live structured e-invoices through the Peppol network.
Annual revenue of AED 50 million or more
Appoint an accredited service provider, then issue and receive e-invoices from 1 January 2027.
Remaining in-scope VAT-registered businesses
Smaller businesses appoint a provider by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027.
B2G transactions
Public sector bodies transact with suppliers through the UAE e-invoicing network.
Timelines follow the UAE Ministry of Finance / Federal Tax Authority phased roll-out. Phase 1 businesses must be able to receive and issue e-invoices from 1 January 2027 — readiness is a systems and data project, not a paperwork exercise.
What the UAE E-Invoicing Mandate Requires
The UAE is replacing PDF and paper invoices with structured, machine-readable e-invoices exchanged in near real time. Invoices must be generated in the UAE Peppol specification (PINT-AE), routed through the five-corner model, and carry validated TRN data, correct VAT treatment and the required bilingual fields — B2B and B2G transactions first, with B2C expected in a later phase.
For finance teams this changes the whole invoice lifecycle: how documents are created, validated, delivered, received, matched against purchase orders and archived. Systems that only export a PDF no longer qualify. The Federal Tax Authority also gains structured visibility of your tax data, which makes the accuracy of every invoice field a compliance issue.
NVS Technologies is a Dubai-based ERP and tax-compliance partner working with Zoho Books. We handle the technical work — data readiness, e-invoicing configuration, provider connectivity and testing — so your finance team keeps closing the books while the mandate rolls out.

Benefits of Automated Tax Reporting
E-invoicing compliance is far easier when invoicing, VAT accounting and reporting run on one automated system. These are the gains our UAE clients see first.
No manual invoice entry
Create an invoice once in Zoho Books and the structured data flows to your ledger, VAT position and e-invoicing provider automatically — no re-typing, no CSV exports.
Validated before it leaves
TRN, tax code and mandatory field checks run at generation, so invoices are accepted by buyers and providers instead of being rejected and reissued.
Faster month-end close
Your VAT position is current every day instead of being reconstructed at period end, cutting closing time and late-night reconciliation.
Audit-ready digital archive
Every invoice, credit note and status change stored in a searchable structured record — the evidence trail the FTA expects, available in one click.
Lower penalty and rejection risk
Correct VAT treatment and compliant invoice data reduce the exposure that comes with non-compliant documents and late filings.
Lower cost per invoice
Less printing, postage, scanning and manual data entry — plus faster payment cycles that improve working capital across the group.

E-Invoicing in the UAE: Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers on the mandate timeline, choosing e-invoicing software, Zoho Books support, Peppol and PINT-AE, and what implementation involves.
Is e-invoicing mandatory in the UAE?
Yes. The UAE Federal Tax Authority is rolling e-invoicing out in phases: a voluntary pilot from 1 July 2026, Phase 1 from 1 January 2027 for businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more, and Phase 2 from 1 July 2027 for remaining in-scope VAT-registered businesses. Government entities follow from 1 October 2027. B2B and B2G transactions are in scope, with B2C expected in a later phase.
When must Phase 1 businesses appoint a service provider?
Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026 and be able to receive e-invoices from their trading partners from 1 January 2027. Smaller businesses appoint a provider by 31 March 2027.
What is the best e-invoicing software in the UAE?
The right e-invoicing software is the one that produces valid PINT-AE invoices from your existing accounting or ERP system and connects to an accredited service provider without manual re-keying. For businesses on Zoho Books, NVS Technologies configures e-invoicing inside Zoho Books so invoices, credit notes and VAT returns stay in one system. For Odoo and other ERPs we build the same connection.
Does Zoho Books support UAE e-invoicing?
Zoho Books supports UAE VAT and e-invoicing readiness, including the structured invoice data the mandate requires. What matters most is the implementation around it: correct tax configuration, clean master data, Arabic and English invoice fields, and a working connection to an accredited service provider on the Peppol network. That is the part NVS Technologies builds and tests for you.
What is PINT-AE and the Peppol five-corner model?
PINT-AE is the UAE-specific Peppol invoice specification: the exact set of fields and rules every e-invoice must follow. The five-corner model describes the route a document takes — supplier, the supplier's accredited service provider, the Peppol network, the buyer's service provider, and the buyer — with the tax authority able to access the data. Compliance depends on both the data format and the routing being correct.
How long does an e-invoicing implementation on Zoho Books take?
A typical engagement runs four to six weeks from assessment to go-live, covering configuration, provider connection, validation testing and team training. Data quality and how quickly your customers and suppliers share their details are the main variables.
What happens if our business is not ready in time?
Invoices that do not meet the structured format or cannot be received through the network create commercial and compliance risk — rejected documents, delayed payments, remediation work and exposure to FTA penalties for non-compliance. Readiness before your phase begins is the cheapest option.
Do you work with businesses outside Dubai?
Yes. NVS Technologies is based in Dubai and delivers Zoho Books and e-invoicing projects across all seven emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah, with remote implementation and on-site workshops where needed.
